As a sophomore from Dallas, Texas, I have been fortunate to train with Matt Cyphert and Audrey Norrell at Woodhill Farm for the past two years. I have been riding for eleven years and began competing four years ago. Since then I have gone from the 2’6 to successfully competing in both the 3’6" junior hunters and equitation.

 

I’ve had the privilege of competing on my two incredible horses, Alajolie and Cassio. I have piloted Alajolie to many tricolors in the 3’3" junior hunters, multiple top 5 placings in USHJA National Hunter Derbies and 14th overall at Junior Hunter Finals. We also received numerous top five placings at Capital Challenge, Harrisburg and the National Horse Show our first time attending. Most recently, we moved up to the 3'6" junior hunters and earned reserve champion our first time out. With Cassio, I qualified for Hunt Seat, NCEA and Hamel Medal Finals in 2024 and have numerous derby placings throughout the year. This was my first year competing in the equitation, but we were able to accumulate top results including finishing third in the NHS Hamel Area Championship. Additionally, at my first national equitation medal final, I scored an 85 in the first round at Hunt Seat Medal Finals - East and was sitting in second place going into the next round to finish 11th overall out of 110+.

Outside of the ring, I attend Bishop Lynch High School, where I maintain a 4.0 unweighted GPA. I’m an active member of the French Honors Society and enjoy contributing to my community through service. Academically, I plan to major in mathematics in college, while riding competitively on a collegiate team.

I’m excited by the challenge of adapting to new horses and competing in a team format, which I know will push me to grow as a rider and horseman.
